160-P-C Ceiling Inlet
The TPI 160-P-C ceiling inlet is specially designed for installation in ceilings. With its rounded aerodynamic design, the 160-P-C ceiling inlet utilizes the Coanda effect. The fresh incoming air is taken from the ceiling and thrown under the ceiling into the house. Because of the Coanda effect, the air will stick to the ceiling and increases the throw. This makes the air go further into the house without reaching the animals. The air is acclimated before it hits the animals.
When cold air would go to the animals directly, they will get sick. Using the 160-P-C ceiling inlet ensures that the air is warmed-up before reaching your animals. The inlet is used to bring air from the attic into the house. Working with ceiling inlets, in turn, helps to pre-heat the temperature of incoming air.
The inlet is controlled by means of a central plastic arm.
